This poncho dress or top represents a unique Panamanian collaboration between indigenous artisans and local tailors/designers at Nido. It features authentic indigenous Ngabe Bugle applique art called PIntas from Panama. The Poncho has a V-neck, rounded hem, adjustable ties on each side. Includes handmade washable tassels.

What We Do:

Since 2010, Nido has worked with rural female tailors and artisans from remote corners of Panama to revive the local artisanal market. Despite Panama’s rich indigenous textile traditions, they were underrepresented in global markets. Nido introduced designs featuring Guna Molas and Ngabe Bugle textile art, pioneering the fashionable application of Panama’s indigenous textile art. Today, Nido is a respected brand known for its sustainable ready-to-wear clothing, sought after both locally and globally.
