Our Frenchie model combines classic black and white stripes with Panama’s iconic Kuna molas.

Authentic Nido mola bag made by Cooperativa el Nido tailors featuring a kuna spirit animal mola art piece. Molas are layers of fabric applique pieces made ceremonially by the Kuna indians of San Blas Islands, Panama. They are beautifully designed and cut geometric shapes that are stitched together by hand with minute stitchery unseen to the eye. They arrange the shapes into symbols of the kuna's multiversal cosmology in striking vibrant color combos.

The centerpiece of the bag is a pintas patch made in collaboration with Ngabe Bugle artisans and represents different aspects of nature such as healing plants and the mountains were they live.
